In Support of Vanderburgh Humane Society
The Vanderburgh Humane Society was founded in 1957 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, receiving no revenue from the city/county. We are a private organization, not a "chapter" of any larger agency.We serve more than 11,000 families every single year by way of animal sheltering, low-cost spay & neuter and wellness services, and specialty programs like Safe Pets domestic violence victim assistance, Senior Pets companionship program, a free pet food bank, and much more.
The VHS also operates a thrift store, Happy Tails Resale Shop, at their main campus, and owns & operates River Kitty Cat Cafe in downtown Evansville.Your support makes this work possible! THANK YOU!Alter. Adopt. Adore.
