  • Join us for the second "Movement for Mutts" on Saturday, June 8th at 10am! This event will be an interval, HIIT style workout with different exercises at each station. All exercises will have modifications whether you are completely new to working out or a seasoned athlete! We will modify for any fitness level!
Some stations will involve equipment and some with just your own body weight. And all the while -- adoptable dogs will be running amok, "helping" you with your workout! Class is limited to the first 25 participants. Restrooms will be available inside the building. Please bring your own water bottle.

Registrations are nonrefundable unless the VHS has to cancel the class for any reason! *Please include your phone number so that we are able to contact you if any class needs to be rescheduled!

In Support of Vanderburgh Humane Society
The Vanderburgh Humane Society was founded in 1957 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, receiving no revenue from the city/county. We are a private organization, not a "chapter" of any larger agency.

The VHS advocates the importance and benefits of neutering animals, promote guardianship of adoptable animals to VHS qualified candidates, implement regular programs on behavioral education in schools and community events, interweave animals into our local activities to strengthen the human-animal bond, and ensure companion animals in our community are treated with respect.

We serve more than 11,000 families every single year by way of animal sheltering, low-cost spay & neuter and wellness services, and specialty programs like Safe Pets domestic violence victim assistance, Senior Pets companionship program, a free pet food bank, and much more.

The VHS also operates a thrift store, Happy Tails Resale Shop, at their main campus, and owns & operates River Kitty Cat Cafe in downtown Evansville.
